Even in the midst of all the news stories about violence, murders, and wars some stories about ‘acts of compassion’ or ‘doing good’ pop up. After reading one of those stories I often wonder what motivated someone to do good or how does a doing good activity gets started and sustained.
I came across a story today that seems to give some answers. The doing good act described in this story did not have any exceptional event to trigger it and is using no exceptional means to sustain it! Such events, I am sure, happen often in our everyday life, and the means used to sustain it are also common place these days. These facts together should help lower the barriers one may find blocking him/her to carryout such an act.
