“People all over the world will get more religious and their numbers will significantly grow by 2050” is the conclusion cited in a recent LiveScience newsletter. Frankly, I was surprised with this claim in the title of the article. It states that Islam and Christianity will have the most followers with Islam claiming the first place. Also that all other major religions except Buddhism will gain followers.
The logic behind its conclusions appears sound to me. Given these are predictions, like all forecasts about the future we’ll just have to wait for learning what reality shapes up.:)
